The Danish team of XLBet.ATS is attending their first international event this weekend, as they are playing at the Global Challenge in Dubai.

The team got paired with tough opponents such as MYM and Virtus.pro, when the groups for the Global Challenge got drawn earlier this week. ArcadioN and co. started the event versus Virtus.pro very confident, the Danes secured a 12:3 terrorist side on dust2. A confident lead did however go down the drain as the team lost several clutch rounds, securing Virtus.pro a 13:2 terrorist side. Virtus.pro locked down the match with 16:14, making it even tougher for XLBet.ATS to advance.

Up next should be the ESWC 2008 champions from MYM. A team ArcadioN, trace and Friis had been messing with before. Last time was even with the current MYM manager TwAizZ as stand-in. This time TwAizZ had switched side and should be leading his boys to a win. What should have been a doable task for the Polish team, turned out the opposite. XLBet.ATS started the match just as they started their match against Virtus.pro. An 11:4 terrorist side for XLBet.ATS on inferno, sent many of the teams watching to ring-side. Yet again after side change, XLBet.ATS lost what they build up in the first half. Clutch rounds not going their way, trace getting weird FPS-drops and MYM generally gaining on them, made the made tough. XLBet.ATS could not close the huge lead they had put up, giving MYM the victory as the Polish team secured their terrorist side 12:3, a overall win 16:14 for MYM.

MYM is now playing Virtus.pro for the first place in the group.
Two times 16:14 for XLBet.ATS, who had the best options ahead of them, but saw them go down the drain.
